Blitzen's at The Brewerie Brings Holiday Cheer to Erie

Erie's holiday season just got brighter. Blitzen's at The Brewerie opens Friday, November 28, transforming the downtown brewpub into a festive pop-up bar with over-the-top décor, themed cocktails, and a touch of holiday magic.

Blitzen's at The Brewerie is bringing a serious dose of holiday cheer to Erie this season. The pop-up opens Friday, November 28 at 6 p.m., serving over-the-top décor, nostalgic vibes, and a cocktail menu that tastes like Christmas morning - only boozier. Located downtown at The Brewerie at Union Station, it's this season's must-visit spot for festive toasts and holiday selfies.

The idea came after its creator, Kara Coleman Cacchione, visited similar holiday pop-ups out of town and fell in love with their immersive, cheerful energy. Erie seemed ready for that same festive fun - and the timing, paired with a willing partner, was perfect.

As Kara explains:

"I was excited to bring the Christmas pop-up bar concept to Erie after visiting a few out of town a couple of years ago. I thought it was such a fun and over-the-top way to celebrate my favorite holiday! Once we were connected with Jessica Warren, the new owner of The Brewerie at Union Station, I knew it was the perfect fit for what we wanted to do. She's a fellow Christmas lover and has been instrumental in bringing Blitzen's at The Brewerie to life. Jessica and her staff have created an amazing holiday cocktail and mocktail menu and have helped create a space that will make the holiday season in Erie a lot brighter!"

Inside The Brewerie, the team has gone all-in on holiday magic: twinkling lights, immersive décor, cozy corners, and a drink menu built around classic winter flavors - think peppermint, cranberry, gingerbread, toasted marshmallow, and more. A robust selection of mocktails ensures the experience is inclusive for all. Appetizers will also be available to order.

Entry is free, making it easy to stop by for a festive drink, a photo, or just to soak up the atmosphere. Blitzen's isn't just a bar - it's an experience. It's designed for adults who want to celebrate the holidays in a fun, social, and slightly magical way. For Erie, it's the perfect new holiday tradition: a place to raise a glass, snap a photo, and enjoy the holidays.

Blitzens opens Friday, Nov. 28 6 p.m. - 11 p.m.
